Got a phone call informing me that we have the iPod Touch computer scan used to make silicone cases. With this we can see the side, top and bottom profiles and the screen postion along with any side switches. Tomorrow I will get a look at them and prepare them to be posted.

I just received news that iPod Touch 2nd Gen will have GPS. This comes from an inside source that have contact with employees building iPod Touch 2nd gen and iPod Nano 4th gen cases. A Chinese manufacturer must have a computer scan of the device before they can make a mold. Parts of the new iPods find their way to accessory companies who then pass on the computer scan to Chinese manufacturers and once this happens the word spreads from workers to other companies and to sometimes to me. I am working on getting some photos of these parts or computer scan or the cases.

Perhaps we'll see GPS unlocked as incentive to upgrade to v. 4.0? -

WPS = Wifi Positioning System.
Yeap Means It Use's Know Wifi HotSpot's to determine your location -

I suppose they weren't thinking that having to look at a map to see where you were in regards to seeing where you have to go, without a voice telling you, would be extremely dangerous for the drive with the iPhone, but for those he is in traffic with. I see many phones less expensive that have this feature.
Why is Apple dragging it's core to see that this is a standard feature on the iPhone.l

I love my iPhone, but now I need to buy a voiced GPS for another $200 or more to put on my dash to tacky it up so that I won't get lost and some voice can tell me make a legal u-turn. -
